Madani Schools Federation are encouraging our students (aged 14-16) to attend a Your Future Careers Fair on Thursday 4 February at Leicester City Hall, 115 Charles Street, Leicester LE1 1FZ.

This is part of government funded national project to deliver 250 events through Chambers of Commerce, attracting over 70,000 young people across England. The Your Future Events are for young people aged 14-24 to inspire, enthuse and motivate them to think about possible careers, the employment options available to them and to make the most of their remaining time in education.

Available at the Your Future Careers Fair will be careers information from local businesses, ‘Have a Go’ activities, ‘Get Involved Workshops’, information on Apprenticeships and much more! All are welcome at these events, so please do just turn up on the day. For more information contact East Midlands Chamber on 0333 320 0333.

MSF Charity Week 2014

Madani Students Raise £894.19

Alhamdulillah, Madani students managed to raise £894.19 during Charity Week 2013. The money raised through book sales, cake sales, hot chocolate at break, football competitions and bucket collections, ensured a water well was built to provide 25 families with clean fresh water. The water well will be situated in communal places such as mosques, schools or village centres.

Where are the wells built?

We will build your Dig-a-Well where it is most appropriate and beneficial. Some common locations include: Afghanistan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Mali, Niger and India-administered Kashmir.

How much does it cost?

Providing clean fresh water to many families and individuals costs £550
