Music

Purpose of study

Students study Music, perform, listen to and review and evaluate different styles of music across historical periods, genres, styles and traditions. Students will use their voices, to create and compose music and have the opportunity to learn a musical instrument (duff). Students understand and explore how music is created, produced and communicated. They also collaborate with others to achieve common goals and targets. They will connect their own and others’ ideas in inventive musical ways. They will create writing composing their own lyrics.
