The Computer Science and Business Studies department is dedicated to providing all students with an understanding of the role that Computer Science and ICT play in the modern world.

Computer Science is a very important subject at Madani Boys School as good ICT/ Computer Science skills will serve students well, both in education and beyond. The aim of the Computer Science department is to make students independent and confident users of ICT. On-line safety and using ICT responsibly is emphasised throughout the Computer Science curriculum. Computer Science

The GCSE Computer Science course has real relevance in our modern world. While students will no doubt already have some knowledge of computers and related areas, this course will give them in-depth understanding of how computer technology works and a look at what goes on “behind the scenes”. As part of this, students will investigate computer programming, which many students find interesting - a fun and interesting way to develop critical thinking analysis and problem solving skills which can be applied to everyday life.

Business Studies

The GCSE Business Studies course encourages students to be inspired, moved and changed by studying a broad, coherent, satisfying and worthwhile course of study. It allows students to gain an insight into related sectors such as economics and accounting as well as appreciate the range of perspectives of different stakeholders in relation to business and economic activities.
